Dr. Joshi’s lecture was part of a panel presentation for the community. Professor
Joshi’s lecture focused on the impact of race on Indian Americans and citizenship.
She provided an overview of the connections between Diaspora and Transnationalism,
and discussed significant historical markers, such as immigration policies and U.S.
Supreme Court cases, that have impacted the formation of Indian American communities
in the United States.
